DRONE MENTORING

Whether you are a stills photographer or filmmaker I offer one to one tailored mentoring.

When I started flying a drone in 2015, it preceded all the online tuition you can find now, and those clever drone features and sensors, I had to figure it all out by myself. I could have cut down the learning curve considerably by having a mentor, but it was a new and opening up market. In those early days I made all the mistakes I hope you will avoid, I feel makes me a better teacher.

With one-to-one tuition I can get you confident flying your drone in the way that will help your own practice. I am particularly good at supporting other women, or those nervous of their drone, and in teaching filmmakers how to fly their drones cinematically.

If you are a filmmaker you need to be thinking about what shots the editor needs to tell a story - as well as how to create original and beautiful shots. I can teach you my tricks that continue to get me work on blue chip productions.

If you are thinking of adding a drone into your practice but don’t have one, I can provide a drone for a one to one session on a big Somerset empty field - then you see if it’s for you? Before investing in expensive equipment and qualifications.

PHOTOGRAPHY MENTORING

I love sharing a life-times experience behind a stills camera. There are many different aspects to photography and I would love to help or even point you in the right direction if I think there is a better person to chat through your area of interest.

I am also up for taking out a limited number of people for a one-to-one experience on my re-wilding project in Somerset UK, come and spend a day photographing /filming amongst the small and the mighty insects, deer, meadow, pond and tree-life - I will even provide a pack lunch. I can pretty much guarantee it makes you feel alive and refreshed creatively. The cost of this will be £150- £200 depending on the length of the day.

Photography companion:- I have travelled far and wide, and am up for putting together, or accompanying groups or individuals on photography based travels. I have experience and contacts in some pretty wild parts of the world, and am confident travelling, first aid trained and can keep a cool head. Costs will vary per project.
